The Practice Schedule has been updated for the 2008-2009 season. The hockey practice schedule has been changed to reflect that power skating practice for both squads will be held on Friday afternoons at 2:15pm at Oceanside and the JV squad will practice Wed afternoons at 4:00pm at Arcadia.     Brophy Hockey Club is truly one of Brophy's best organized but best kept secrets! Starting nearly a decade ago, the club consistently has put competitive Varsity and Junior Varsity teams on the ice with winning records. These players practice more, travel farther, and compete longer than any other sport at Brophy. Even though a club sport, Brophy Hockey players are expected to model Brophy's code of conduct on and off the ice as well as carry on a strong BCP Jesuit tradition of sportsmanship as a character building virtue. Though not recognized by the AIA, Brophy Hockey is supported by the Activities Principal Jeff Glosser and Principal Bob Ryan.

    Practice Tip of the week

      Tip - Passing and Shooting:Feet should be shoulder width apart with knees slightly bent. Look where the pass or shot is going.Transfer weight from back leg to front leg.Roll wrists. Follow through with your stick blade pointing to the target.
